Secondary/Spirit Character Applications
This is an app for an 'NPC-like' character, who your character cannot be seperated from - like a spirit guardian. You don't need to submit an app for your in-game captured Pokemon - this is only for canon (or original) characters you can't live without. Well, your character can't live without. They can be either spirit or Pokemon - check the FAQs! This character cannot be your only character - however, you can app them at the same time as your main character. Or later.
Characters here are still free to app as a main character by others. It does not count for the OU limit, if you app an OU character. The apps are easier for this, yes. But it's because they will have limited interaction. At least, that's what I assume.
Side note- applications, much like the main app's page, will be left in the comment's section for future reference by other curious players.

Name: Astral
Character this is an NPC for: Yuuma Tsukumo
Justification: He's a spirit/alien/being of sorts tied to the key around Yuuma's neck. He's typically unable to interact with anything physically, and only Yuuma is able to see or hear him
though a mini plot is coming to do something about thatPokemon/Spirit:
Spirit- At the present time, Psychic type pokemon and the spiritually sensitive can see or partially see/hear him, along with Yuuma's starter.

Personality: If Yuuma is the 'Red Oni' to the duo he forms with Astral, then Astral is assuredly Blue- as opposed to Yuuma's seeming excitement and stubborn drive, Astral is cool, and calm at almost all times. Very rarely does he react to anything with more than a logical observation, and when he does it's serious.
But Astral is also rather naive to a certain extent- as he has little memory of his own world and of the human world, he is curious, and has no tact in regard to asking questions on what confuses him. Despite this however he is highly intelligent, and able to think leaps and bounds ahead of most- nothing escapes his eye.
He is quite close to Yuuma- in fact, until very recently, he only smiled in response to events tied to him- that in itself a recent occurrence. But he has been shown, especially recently, to care for him- and he has been shown, despite apparently holding calm at all times, to react in anger, or shock- Astral is quiet... But he still has emotions. He merely doesn't understand them entirely.

Currently, Yuuma and the others are making their way through Pinwheel once again. Due to previous events, I have been able to keep them on a relatively short path, though the bridge through the woods makes it fairly easy as well.
Once we leave the forest, we will apparently be going over the 'Skyview Bridge'- we will apparently have considerable view of Unova from there, so I am looking forward to it.

Character this is an NPC for: Narukami Yu
Justification: Perhaps the Pokemon form of his true self, his Persona that he encountered in his series.

Sample:
Izanagi dashed forward on command, striking down another Sentret that he and Yu had encountered. He turned back to himself, his master, his trainer. Yu gave him a thumbs up.
"Good job. Though it looks like you're a bit weaker than before," Yu observed, a bit worried. Izanagi shrugged. It wasn't anything he couldn't handle after all.
"Hm, I wonder what we should do while we're here anyway?" Yu mused, Izanagi also in deep thought. Though he was nothing more than a mimic for himself now.
He and Yu shared the same thoughts, so they could understand each other. Maybe.
"Maybe somebody in the next town over has some idea," Yu shrugged, walking forward. "Let's go."
And Izanagi was once again returned to his Pokeball. There was simply nothingness here. Though he could still view the outside world to some extent.
How interesting.

Name: Ikol
Character this is an NPC for: Loki Laufeyson
Justification: Ikol is the shadow of Loki's previous self and bound to him by said self's magic; as per the current Loki's wishes, he is an advice giver, meant to speak only when it somehow benefits Loki, and only with words of truth.

History:
Personality: As he himself tells Loki at one point, he is 'evil [Loki]'. He retains all the cunning of that previous self, as well as all the knowledge. Like Loki, he is mischievous. Unlike Loki, he is cruelly so, and if not for the fact that he is bound to the boy's word, he would probably be wreaking havoc in this new body of his. If he doesn't see a vital need to say something he won't, thereby lying by omission. And, if he feels someone must be harmed in order to fulfill the duties of his bond, he won't hesitate. He almost pecked Loki's eyes out to do so in fact!

WRRAAAAAAAARK... [He cannot speak! Of all the blasted things. Even better, he's feeling ANGRY about that; the pure sort, not the dulled one he's used to now.]

Name: Hane Kuriboh
Character this is an NPC for: Judai Yuki
Justification: SPIRIT PARTNERS! (is that even a legit reason)

Personality: Fluffy and adorable, mostly. He's very loyal to Judai though. Hane Kuriboh is generally very passive, and is really quite sweet. On occassion, he even manages to talk Judai out of some of his stupider plans. Lord help you if you piss him off though.
Sample:
Hane Kuriboh tripped over his new legs, unused to them, as he ran towards Judai, who, at the moment, was sitting under a tree. Having long legs and no wings was a bit of a challenge for the former Duel Monster, but he couldn't say he explicitly disliked the change.
What he did dislike, however, was the fact that it was now quite difficult to keep up with his master and his various antics. He was supposed to protect Judai, and how was he supposed to do that when he couldn't even keep up?
He had to admit, though, it was quite nice to have a physical body for once. Curling up on a warm lap sounded particularly appealing.

Name: Rayman
Character this is an NPC for: The Magician
Justification: Well, Rayman and The Magician was fighting... it's basically for Rule of Funny.

If spirit, what sort of people can see/hear/whatever them? Any other Teensies, or anybody who knows Pokemon.
History: Here!
Personality: Rayman is a simple guy, with simple goals. You know, protecting his friends, defeating evil, that sort of thing. He can bring the best out of everybody, and can make the most jaded people smile and become his friend. He's quite silly, though, smiling and grimacing during the best of times, and the worst of times too. Everybody can become better, everybody can become a friend. Except for those who wrong his best friends, though. He'll go though hell and spikes to stop the baddies. Though... he is naive. Very naive.
Sample: The sun was going down, and Rayman peeked his way out of The Magician's hat, stub hands carefully taking the hat off of his sleeping trainer. It still sounded wrong. After all, The Magician was a bad guy, wasn't he? But as he slept like this, he had such a sad look on his face, his feet slightly twitching. But Rayman had something else to do!
He made his way over to the nearby ledge, his face determined. And then - he jumped!
And landed on his face. "Oww..." he said, rubbing it. "I guess I really don't have my old hair anymore! That's kind of bad..." he said, with a laugh. No big punches, no big flight... man, how was he going to help everybody recover? If they were everybody...

Name: Ponta
Character this is an NPC for: Gilag
Justification: Ponta was Gilag's partner in his past-life, when he was 'Kiraku Souhachi'. Aside from the fun of partnering them up again despite Ponta's assumptions behind their separation, Gilag eventually eats his soul. ....So yea they're together again in canon soooo...
Pokemon/Spirit?: POKEMON
If Pokemon, what Pokemon are they?: Zigzagoon (shiny)
History: Here!
Personality: As a Tanuki, Ponta bears a number of the stereotypical traits--a high sense of honor toward the one who saved him from the battle field, along with a fair bit of naive and proud faith in his own ability. He holds his power in high regard, and while a fair bit isn't at all unfounded, he's certainly a little big-headed about it. However, he doesn't brag constantly on it--and in fact, he's quite polite, apologizing for any troubles he caused Yuuma in the series, and keeping his word regardless of any circumstances. He even reverts to 'Kiraku-sama' when he comes to understand the truth behind what happened to himself and his partner.
He's quite childish, and in canon, speaks with a voice that depicts him as such (along with the 'pon' tic.). He's not at all above tricks to win a battle, for after all, the point is to win, and it really doesn't matter how he wins if no one that shouldn't get hurt is hurt. Body switching and disguises are his forte, and thus, he'll use them to the best of his ability. He's playful, kindspirited...
And holds a very, very strong grudge. Be warned--he will not forget, and he will not forgive without reason, and if he has a grudge against you those friendly tricks and techniques can hurt very, very fast.

He saw clouds and trees, and for a moment thought it was a dream. He knew where he'd been last--locked in stone with a 'numbers' or whatever it was called, buried in the ground with no way out. Buried alive, one could say, but technically he'd been dead when he went into the statue, hadn't he?
And now he was free. "Pon..." Free, he thought happily, standing on his hindlegs. He could even feel his tail again, his paws, his--
"Rag?" This fur wasn't the same. "Rag- Rag--!" His voice wasn't the same--! (But he was free now, that was all that mattered right? That was all--)
Crunching leaves met his ears, and as he turned he could spot a shadow, a silhouette all too familiar to him. He knew that shape. He'd been locked in that shape, played double for that shape, only to be betrayed by it! THAT SHAPE...
Needless to say, he would gladly wait until after he'd shown 'Kiraku' what he thought of him, before figuring out what happened.
